This is a lesson for me in paying close attention to the product details and not “guessing” that all such pendants are similarly sized. I ordered two of these, they were on sale. They arrived and I was very impressed with the quality of the packaging – the sort of packaging that helps to make this a nice gift option. However, the actual pendant was much larger than I expected… didn’t really fit with the thin chain and seemed too unsubtle. Nicely made… so if you want a pendant this size I would still recommend it – just pay attention to the dimensions and don’t make the mistake I did.
I’d also like to mention that when I returned these two items I packaged them in the same box that they were shipped to me in and sent them back knowing that I would have to pay return postage via Amazon’s automated shipping label process. Amazon charged me separately for EACH item – I think around $4+ EACH. This seems unreasonable. I queried Amazon about it (a number of weeks ago) but have yet to receive a response back. Only have so much time to chase these $4 costs up… but it’s the principle of the thing, etc, etc.
